day eighty nine. today marks four months of vegetarianism. i kept meaning and meaning to update but i decided to wait until today. my dad is out of town for two weeks so mom is going to make all veg meals for the both of us. for breakfast i had an omelet with morningstar farms sausage style crumbles and sharp cheddar. i tried some of the light chocolate silk we bought yesterday but i was not a fan. i hope it grows on me.

day fifty. went to jenoelly’s downtown for pizza and sweetsticks with michael and his friend derek. delish as usual. then for snacks last night we had these veggie bars that michael’s grandma made and frozen mozzarella marinara sticks. the veggie bars are some type of dough covered in cream cheese and topped with fresh, raw veggies. amazing. the mozzarella sticks should’ve been cooked longer (my bad) but were still yummy.

day forty-nine. original vegan bocaburger and publix potato salad. put sharp white cheddar, sweet pickles, and lots of ketchup on the burger. i definitely prefer the patties that actually are meant to taste like beef than those which are just veggies smushed together.

day forty-eight. i am such a terrible slacker. not on being veg; just on updating this thing. this week is finals week so after this i can try to remember to take more pictures. anyway let’s see. went to steak n shake with michael for lunch. had a medium cheese fry drowned in ketchup and we split a junior mint cookies n cream shake. for dinner at michael’s house we had spaghetti (juj put fake meat crumbles in mine, bless her), carrabba’s bread seasoning stuff with publix bread, and a caesar salad.

day thirty-two. thanksgiving! spent it with the ruemmeles. thankfully i had plenty to eat: two types of dressing, mashed potatoes, creamed corn, a deviled egg, garbanzo bean salad, cranberry relish, and a roll. as juj made deviled eggs, she ran out of filling and used some roasted red pepper hummus to fill the last two. yum yum.

day thirty. a month has passed! incredible. for breakfast i had my favorite chocolate milk and this peach soy yogurt. the yogurt was nasty. it was colored with tumeric which i think may have made it taste so sour. for lunch i went to dolce vita with michael’s mom and sister. i had edamame hummus with gorgonzola cheese and lebanese hummus. india had the same black bean and corn tacos that i had a few weeks ago. judie had a little trio of sandwiches, which included one with cucumber spinach tomato and some spread that i forget. then for dinner mom made black bean, corn, and zucchini enchiladas with rice and green beans. delish.

day twenty-nine. i took all my pictures recently on my internal memory which is hard to get them off of, hence the lack of updates. i’m a fool. i realized my error today while i was watching the season two finale of dexter at michael’s house while we had these delicious snacks. we had apples with this amazing toffee dip and veggies with lite ranch. the dip is a package of cream cheese, heath toffee bits WITH the chocolate which are apparently hard to find, and a little brown sugar. while i was over there i also helped make sweet potato casserole and lasagna and shuck corn for thanksgiving dinner.

day twenty-one. for lunch i tried the gardein classic style buffalo wings along with squash casserole, rice, and green beans. i’m not so sure about these. they were buffalo-y enough but a little squishy. buffalo chicken is my favorite food ever so i hope i’ll like them better next time around. maybe i should bake them longer. then as i was reading during the afternoon i had some roasted red pepper hummus from publix with some pita chips and then half of a small bagel topped with nutella. i was very pleased to find out that the publix brand of hummus tastes just like the athenos kind i usually get, plus it’s way cheaper.

day twenty. tried fake bacon for lunch on a “blt.” the blt consisted of facon, sundried tomato pesto mayonnaise, and lettuce. the facon tasted exactly like sunflower seeds. i’ll try it again when i have real mayo. then for dinner i had southwestern bean stew over polenta. we used sundried tomato polenta instead of regular. i’d never had it before but it was tasty. gosh i had sundried tomato three times today.. i also had an alouette spread with some wheat thins.
